The GT series spool release cap has 1" or 24mm hex shape, the same as your car's lug nuts so if it ever gets stuck you can remove it with a standard socket! Wow we could have used that feature on a ton of reels, nice going! A far cry from the CCFX 😉 External backing markers, spools featuring two crossbars to indicate the optimal backing fill level for your line weight. This reel is special with tons of thought and practical features designed by fisherman. Each reel includes a hooker feature positioned on the handle side of the reel to hold your fly or tippet in place for storage.
