Scott Sector Saltwater Fly Rods blend advanced modern graphite technology and high tech saltwater components to create the most angler friendly saltwater rod on the market.

Like the Meridian before it the Sector is really light and really "castable". Sector rods advance Scott's award winning ReAct technology with new tapers and new "Carbon Web". Carbon Web improves torsional stability and rod durability by encasing the unidirectional fibers in a web of ultra-light multi-directional carbon fiber. Improved stability and strength mean you will cast better and longer with ease. Improved strength means your rod will not break when that lead eyed crab hits it when you are on the trip of a life time.

Scott Sector Saltwater Rods are fitted with awesome component that defy harsh saltwater environments.

New "Ceracoil" stripping guides with nickel titanium frames and super slick "Zirconia" inserts, along with "Recoil" nickel titanium snake guides for low friction and corrosion free performance. Guide sets are PVD coated in a low reflective coating for even greater durability and stealth. Reels seats are milled from aircraft grade aluminum and feature self-indexing slide hoods, extra deep knurling to easily turn lock rings with wet hands, type 3 mil0-spec hard coat in non-reflective flat blac, and line weight engravings for quick rod ID. Modified well Flor grade cork grips and new fighting butts feature a thick soft rubber for comfort.

Scott Sector rods will handle todays modern lines with ease and if you are casting heavier flies then by all means utilize some of the great "over weighted options" Titan Tapers, Outbound, Sniper etc. What's really cool about the Sector though is the fact that it really loves some of the longer tapers in salt as well, carrying long lines and presenting not splashing your saltwater fly is what the Scott Sector does so well.
