Why We Go Here
The Sécure River system represents the upper portion of the Tsimane watershed, where interconnected tributaries and main channels extend deeper into remote jungle terrain. This section of the basin is positioned further upstream than other core lodge areas. The fishery supports golden dorado and pacú, with species distributed across both primary river channels and smaller feeder streams. Water conditions vary throughout the system depending on rainfall and location.
Sécure provides access to multiple sections of river within a single drainage, allowing anglers to move through different environments during their stay. Its position within the watershed offers a distinct upstream section of the overall Tsimane network.
