Sage R8 Power Fly Rods help you tackle technical conditions. Versatile with a knack for high velocity control and maximum distance. They feature an ultra fast action built to deliver high line speed at distance, low anglers and drive casts through the wind. This rod has the power to lift at distance, deliver heavy sinking lines and the largest flies.

The rod blank is made with Revolution 8 technology and is a hot red. It features burgundy base wraps with grey and black trim accents. Red like the Method and Igniter before it... red means go fast! The rod is finished out with hard chrome snake guides, Fuji K tangle free stripping guides and premium flor grade cork. 5wt and 6wt models are available in half wells cork handles with hook keepers and without fighting butts. More 6wt models and 7wt through 9wt models are available with a hidden hooker, a full wells grip and fighting butts. Each Sage R8 Power comes with a premium aluminum rod tube and black rod bag with a quick tie chord.
