Overcast Fly Rods from Echo have been optimized for increased line speed and control in short, medium and far distances. Perfect for a variety of saltwater fisheries. Big flies, small flies, it does it all. Extra length is an overlooked factor when generating line speed. By stretching a standard nine foot rod three inches it can produce increased line speed without having to feel like a broomstick. The extra three inches does not interfere with accuracy like a ten foot rod would. A discerning solution to the question: who wouldn't want more line speed? You want more line speed when battling tough conditions. Maybe you need to cast short - the firm action will excel here. Then you need to cast far as you missed your shot but have one last chance. That's where that extra three inches helps you out. The rods have a matte black blank with red wraps. Each rod is complete with ceracoil stripper guides, TICN coated snakes guides and a Flip Pallot designed modified full wells grips with an exposed upper real seat. An ECHO Rod Roll, an impact resistant roll style rod case that can carry up to three rods and meets carry on requirements, comes with each rod.
