Waterworks Lamson Litespeed M fly reel is a machined work of art. The Litespeed M is equipped with a hybrid drag system, sharing some elements of the proven Lamson Cobalt drag - fixed spindle, large heat-wicking conical surfaces, click stop drag knob.
The LSM marine version incorporates close tolerance composite bearings, and comes equipped with th e same linear spring set found on the Litespeed Freshwater versions, optimized for each reel size.
Like the Cobalt reel, it holds an IPX8 waterproof rating to 100 ft. LSM frame and spool share the same open structure as the Litespeed Fresh water versions, with emphasis on greater stiffness and stability. Three sizes all with massive arbors with incredible retrieval rates to make the Litespeed M an absolute saltwater wench. Bonefish, Tarpon and bluewater species are all tamed. Line memory is virtually eliminated with the size of the arbor. The Litespeed M is truly a work of art.
