The New for Spring 2024 Thomas and Thomas Avantt II series of rods provides effortless accuracy to the fly fisher. The Avantt II is great looking and great on the water. Custom componentry has been carefully selected to make the Avantt II one of the very best looking rods on the market today.

The Avantt II features a super smooth action, coupled with unmatched dampening so you can dial in distance, and put it on a dime. T&T used five different types of premium fibers, bound together by their proprietary aerospace resin system. Aligning these 5 fibers at strategic angles as the Avantt II is rolled, improves strength, while enhancing recovery and dampening.The Avantt II loads with ease and efficiency, generating high line speeds and making accurate casts at al distances effortless. The Avantt II can be fine tuned for your specific purpose with line choice. Not all rods are this "all around" in terms of trout application. For technical dry fly fishing use a Scientific Anglers Trout Taper, for all round trouting including nymphing and hopper dropper rigs use a RIO Gold or a SA Infinity Taper. For lake fishing use a longer taper line like the SA Amplitude Smooth Anadro/Nymph and Stillwater Indicator line. Accuracy and power are possible with all of the above line choices with the Avant II rods. The super versatile fast action with fast recovery is a joy to fish.

Additional features for the Avantt II include: New Flor grade "Special Wells" grip on all models, Matte gunmetal reels seat hardware with T&T's trademark roll stamped logo, black chrome snake guides with titanium frame stripping guide with zirconia ceramic insert. Dark "T&T blue" semi-gloss finish blank and chestnut color wraps with spring green accents. All rods are 4 pieces and include quality rod sock and tube. Rods longer than 9ft come with 1" fighting butts.
