Scott GT Fly Rods have been developed with a new lineup, in 4 and 5 piece rods, to showcase the best characteristics of G Series Rods. These rods have a medium fast, progressive action and a fast recovery speed. They feature a medium flex profile. GT rods feature modern innovations on top of well- oved attributes. The first innovation, X Core design, has produced the thinnest blank walls Scott has offered. ARC2 multidirectional fibers create improved recovery, line speed, stability and accuracy. The internal ferrules have been redesigned and are now 20% lighter with ideal flex in tandem with the blanks. These innovations produce superbly sensitive and responsive rods! Ideal for hooking fish on the smallest takes or protecting tippet on the meanest ones. GT Series rods feature milled aluminum reel seats with type 3 hard coat, gorgeous cocobolo wood inserts and Flor grade cork grips. The stripping guides are tangle free, titanium Zirconia that elegantly complement Snake Guides used throughout the rod. Each rod is handcrafted in Montrose, Colorado and finished with measuring wraps, alignment dots and a hand inscribed individual serial number.
