The Guru X reel features a larger handle with a more ergonomic profile, a tippet friendly radiused reel and a larger fluted click stop drag knob for fine tune adjustments. The Guru X sports an improved strength to weight ratio. The Guru that you learned to love is still underneath these improvements. The reel has a fully CNC machined Aluminum frame and spool. A robust workhorse design built to last, whether you guide 200 days a year or a weekend a month, the Guru X offers longtime performance. Available in sizes suitable for 2 to 10 weight rods in 3+, 5+, 7+ and 9+ models. From intimate blue line streams to fabled mountain west tailwaters this reel will find a home in your fishing program. The 7+ HD and 9+ HD adds a full cage design for improved durability and compatibly with thin running lines used with shooting and spey style heads.
