The Stone Squatter from Solitude flies is a killer stonefly imitation. It is low riding and still buoyant enough to support a dropper. An extra-long hook point helps pin short striking fish. Its design allows to be skated nicely across the surface film or dead drifted like a traditional stonefly imitation. We love this pattern for trout and surface orientated fall steelhead (in the larger sizes).
