The Sage Spectrum Reel is modeled after the popular Sage 4200 Series Reels.

The Spectrum is a fully machined, large arbor performance fly reel.

Equipped with features and componentry that are characteristic of higher priced reels, the super-durable Spectrum is constructed with 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum. Use of this high-grade aluminum also makes this reel very lightweight, and the aluminum is cold forged and tempered for immense strength and rigidity. The reel is also hard anodized for surface protection and corrosion resistance. The Spectrum is finished off with a machined and anodized aluminum ergonomic handle.

The Spectrum Reel has an extremely smooth and accountable SCS drag. The one-revolution drag knob has numbered and indented settings so you can precisely position it where you wish.

The spool has a concave spool surface, which is designed to optimize line capacity as well as further assist the drag to give you one smooth fly-fishing reel. The Spectrum easily converts from left- to right- hand retrieve so it is available to all anglers.
