The Tungsten Junior Mint is a smaller, tungsten, jigged version of the classic Thin Mint. This fly is available in a variety of sizes, which allows it to be fished in a multitude of ways. In the larger sizes, it can be fished just like the classic thin mintÑwith a sinking line and a slow strip in both Stillwater and river conditions. In the smaller sizes (14-16), you can effectively fish this fly under a strike indicator for trout and smallmouth bass.
