Kapok Dubbing from Semperfli has been called the life jacket for dry flies. Kapok Dubbing is a natural hollow fiber from the tropics that weighs only one-eighth as much as cotton.

We find creating micro "dubbing noodles" to be as easy as any dubbing we have found. You can take a tiny amount of Kapok Dubbing and create beautiful dry fly bodies with ease.If you want a larger body for a larger mayfly or caddis Kapok is perfect as you can easily control the diameter of your dubbing noodle with this thinner than superfine dubbing.

Kapok is literally used in life jacket and life boats supporting as much as 30 times its own weight in water.
