Galvan Grip Extra Spool

Getting an extra spool for your Galvan Grip is a great way to easily switch between lines, or use your Galvan Grip on multiple rods for various applications.

The Grip is the kind of reel that can be used in any setting.

It can be your go-to saltwater rod for bonefish, stripers, and tarpon. But, it could also be your reel for Summer & Winter steelhead, Fall Chinook, or pike/musky. The moral of the story is having an extra spool would allow you to keep your bonefish line at the ready for your annual tropical venture, but in the meantime allow you to fish with your Galvan Grip for big game species in the freshwater without having to unspool & spool a new line on for each kind of fishing.

Furthermore, having the ability to easily switch between line-setups with an extra spool while on the water is priceless. Having a floating line on one spool and a sinking head on the other will make you efficient and ready for any condition you may need to adapt to while fishing.

As with all Galvan reels, the spool is made of 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum, and it has a Type II anodized saltwater and corrosion-safe finish.
