The Echo SWING is a medium fast action rod. It has enough backbone to battle strong fish and defeat the wind but it still has a mid flex that makes casting heavier tips with a slower, more defined stroke simple and fun.

Fall 2023 Echo introduces two Trout Spey Models to add to the Swing line up of rods. Moderate action full loading Echo Swing Trout Spey models help anglers retain the joy of landing trout of all sizes. The 3wt is more for your soft hackle swing and light streamer action and the 4wt will deal with larger rivers, micro sink tips and larger cone head streamers.

SIC stripping guides and hard chrome snake guides are durable and dependable season after season. The reel seat is an anodized aluminum. The componentry and overall quality of these rods are characteristic of fly rods that cost twice as much as the SWING.

We have enjoyed applying all two handed methods with these rods: Skagit/Sacndi swining, skating, and even nymphing. This rod loves to play and at under $750, its tough to beat.
