Aquaflies AquaTalon Kingfisher Hooks are elegant hooks designed for classic steelhead flies. Born as a tribute to renowned steelheaders, Grant King and Bill Schaadt, these hooks are made from forged Japanese steel, feature a tapered loop eye, turned up 20 degrees and a micro barb. The Kingfisher artwork is Grant King's logo drawn by Bill Schaadt.
AquaTalon Kingfisher Hooks is ideal for exhibition style art flies or summer steelhead classics. The extended length helps hook short striking steelhead and display beautiful patterns. Flies like purple peril, green butt skunk or lady caroline would look lovely and fishy on these hooks. Currently available from Caddis Fly Shop in light wire with a black nickel finish, sizes 5 and 7. Each pack contains 25 hooks.
