The name might be a little confusing: it means that the feathers are grown by Whiting Farms, and there are enough rooster saddle hackles in each pack to tie at least 100 dry flies. This does not mean that there are 100 saddle feathers in each pack.

There are 16 feathers per pack.

The size selection available, from #12 to #18 indicates how narrow the feather will be. The photo above is pretty decent, and it shows that all the feathers are long, but the #18 rooster saddle feathers are the narrowest, but even the #12 saddle feathers are very narrow so all are great for feather hair extensions. The color range is also very nice.

You will find that each individual feather is in perfect condition, as all are hand sorted for this product, so there is zero waste.
