The Tungsten Jigstone is a great stonefly nymph that sinks great and has a realistic look. Stoneflies are always the ticket. Whether its spring, summer, or fall, you can always catch trout on stonefly nymphs. We like this pattern a lot because it is tied "jig-style;" therefore, it sinks hook up and gets into the zone quickly. This is extra effective when fishing with stonefly nymphs because stonefly's inhabit turbulent, oxygenated water and because of this, getting your fly to sink quickly is very important.
