The Monic Trout Master features Monic's newest precision taper. The Trout Master is a long "trout" taper which features 3 integrated colors (Green, Tan, Lt. Blue) so fisherman know where they are at any distance.

The Monic Trout Master's "slickening" agent is permanent as it is applied during the line manufacturing process resulting in a light texture that reduces friction for easy casting and shooting ability. Available in 4, 5 & 6 weight options. Overall taper is long at 59'. The first 30' features easy loading and positive turn over like all Monic freshwater lines. An aggressive belly section and very extended rear taper allow for fishing dries at distance easily and is a nymph fisherman's dream for medium and long ranges. The rear taper gives anglers the ability to mend positively at distance along with the ability to play out long drifts that keep the flies in the "zone". The Green color marks the front head of the taper, Tan shows the middle belly and rear taper while the Lt. Blue marks the running/shooting line.
