Fish it as either your top or bottom fly in a two-fly rig or as a dropper under a big foam terrestrial or stonefly dry.

This is the style of stonefly we love to use in clearer fisheries where the trout seem to be smarter and spookier. A big, bulky stonefly such as a classic Kauffman's can be a bit overkill in those scenarios, but a slender, light pattern such as this can be deadly in those moments.
