The Hardy Ultralite MTX is visually stunning and represents a new benchmark in performance fly reels from Hardy. The Ultralite MTX is the first reel in Hardy’s family to feature a hybrid carbon fiber/alloy frame construction. It is light, yet incredibly strong and designed beautifully.

This reel has a carbon fiber drag system which functions fantastically in all freshwater conditions. The drag system is fully adjustable, with a 340-degree color coded regulator to position the drag exactly where necessary for the situation you’re in. This reel also has a high line capacity, and a simple captive spool release for switching spools in and out.
