The Airflo Super-Dri Tarpon Line is built with a low-stretch Power Core, which allows you to bury that 4/0 hook much more effectively.
To be precise, the Power Core makes this line have only a 6% stretch as opposed to traditional fly lines, which had 20+% stretch. This greatly increases the sensitivity, and therefore, the ability to set the hook much more effectively. In other words, when the phone rings, you answer it that much quicker.
The Super-Dri and Ridge Technologies greatly increase the distance you can achieve on each cast and the overall durability of the fly line, which is of utmost importance in the harsh salt environment.
